Buffalo Chamber Music Society | Nathan Lee, piano
Sunday, November 14
Mary Seaton Room, 8:00 pm
The Buffalo Chamber Music Society presents pianist Nathan Lee at Kleinhans Music Hall.
Although still a student, the pianist Nathan Lee has already performed as soloist with some of the world’s leading orchestra. A native of the Seattle area, Nathan Lee began playing the piano at the age of six and made his orchestral debut at the age of nine. He has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic on NPR’s From the Top, the Cleveland Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra and Seattle Symphony. He is currently a student at the Curtis Institute of Music. Of one of his performances, The New York Times wrote, “Not only did Mr. Lee effortlessly dispatch streams of passagework, spiraling runs, leaping chords and bursts of octaves, he also played with nuance, delicacy and rich variety of touch.”
