The Buffalo Chamber Music Society presents violinist Benjamin Baker at Kleinhans Music Hall.

The violinist Benjamin Baker already has a busy concert schedule, with concerto, recital and chamber performances around the world. Born in New Zealand, he studied at England’s Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music. In 2013 he won First Prize at the Windsor Festival International String Competition. Reviewing his New York recital, The New York Times wrote that he “brought virtuosity, refinement and youthful exuberance to a daunting program.” Classic FM UK said his CD of sonatas and showpieces revealed “an attractive, sonorous quality of tone and expression, demonstrating an impressive talent.”
