Having carried off a series of international prizes, Rémi Geniet is embarking on what promises to be a brilliant solo career. The young French pianist’s debut recording of Bach keyboard works has won acclaim. “Geniet’s joyous, invigorated, and well-recorded Bach interpretations cannot help but leave you smiling and wanting more. In other words, this kid’s got it!” wrote Jed Distler in Classics Today. He has already performed recitals at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall, as well as at venues in Vienna, Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Geneva, Ghent, Brussels, Germany, Italy, Poland and Canada. He has also performed with orchestras in many countries, including France, Belgium, Russia, Japan.
