Buffalo Chamber Music Society | Los Angeles Piano Trio
The Buffalo Chamber Music Society presents the Los Angeles Piano Trio at Kleinhans Music Hall.
The newest ensemble on our series is the Los Angeles Piano Trio, founded in 2020 by three musicians who have already had impressive careers. The ensemble consists of the pianist Fabio Bidini, a concert pianist familiar to Buffalo audiences from performances with the Buffalo Philharmonic; violinist Margaret Batjer, who made her solo debut at 15 with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra; and cellist Andrew Shulman, former principal cellist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. They will perform Mozart’s Piano Trio in E major, K.542, Beethoven’s Piano Trio in D major, Op.70, No.1, known as the “Ghost” trio for its eerie slow movement, and Chausson’s Piano Trio in G minor.
